Colour : Element of Design
This picture shows color because everything is black and white except for the rainbow. The rainbow stands out in the picture.
Shape : Element of Design
In this picture the shapes are smaller and smaller as you go down.
This gives the idea that they are farther away.
The train tracks show space because it gives the sense of movement. As you go farther away, the train tracks will get smaller and smaller.

Space : Element of Design
In this picture the gooses are overlapping. This gives a sense that one goose is further back than the other.
In this picture detail is used. The hills that are closer have more details while the hills that seem farther back have less detail and blend in the background.
Line : Element of Design
In the first picture horizontal lines are used and give a calm quiet feeling. The second picture has vertical lines that show more of movement or speed.
Harmony : Principle of Design
The harmony is shown by giving you the visual image of pulling the pieces together in picture 2.
The repetition and rhythm visualizes the parts connecting. This brings an area of attention to the picture.

Rhythm : Principle of Design
This picture shows rhythm because it shows the gradation of the shapes and colours.(Arranged by certain shapes or color)
Variety : Principle of Design
This picture shows the different variety of fruits and vegetables and colours. You can see the different fruits and vegetables just by a glance.
Balance : Principle of Design
The Ying Yang symbol represents balance because both sides show symmetry except they are of different shades. The white balances the black and the black balances the white.
Texture : Element of Design
This picture shows the texture because if you were to feel it, you would understand that the surface is rough and just by looking at it, you can see the uneven surface.
Shape
This stop sign shows shape because in safety the order of hazard symbols are triangle, square and hexagon. By using a hexagon it means more than a triangle or square.
Emphasis
In this picture there are many black colored people but there is one that is a bright orange yellow. The picture is an example of emphasis because it is the only different colour.
This is another example of emphasis as the letters "wake up" are bold.

What I Did This Summer [Communications Tech]
This summer has been enjoyable and felt longer than my previous summers. Though most days were just stay at home, relatives of mine visited. A majority of my summer was spent on doing something which I've never done before. I've never completely read a book since grade 4. Throughout most of my years in school I have never read a book even when we were assigned to read a book. Wikipedia and other sites were my source for the book contents and answers for most questions. I started reading books on business topics such as marketing, and I have been reading books on presentations skills. I believe they have boosted up my confidence when presenting in front of a group of people. This is most likely the reason for the long summer feeling but I still enjoyed it.
